How billing works
What counts as a charge?
1 scan = 1 credit. You're only charged for successful scans — if a scan fails, the credit is automatically refunded.
Starter — when am I charged?
Once. A single $20 payment gives you 100 scans at $0.20 each. No subscription, no auto-renewal. Credits don't expire (removed only after 18 months of account inactivity).
Pro — when am I charged?
$100 on each monthly renewal, which includes 1,000 scans. Any scans beyond that are $0.10 each, added to that month's invoice and charged at the end of the billing period.
Do unused scans roll over?
Pro's monthly included scans reset every renewal and don't roll over. Prepaid Starter credits do persist — they're used after your monthly included scans run out, before any overage is billed.
Can I cancel?
Cancel Pro anytime. You keep access until the end of the current paid period and you're not charged again. Your remaining Starter credits stay in your account.
